There are many different volunteer paths at M-LISADA. We are always looking for qualified teachers to teach all types of music or dance. Our children crave instruction in art and crafts. We welcome volunteers who can teach projects in photography, video, and computer skills. M-LISADA never has enough literacy instructors or librarians eager to teach the love of books. Our new farmland in Bombo can always use people with an understanding of agricultural and environmental issues. The areas in which you can make a difference in a child’s life are boundless. Are you a nurse, a tailor, an event planner, a lawyer, a social worker, counselor, architect, teacher, an engineer, a botanist? If you have a skill M-LISADA welcomes further discussions with you. We look for volunteers with a sense of compassion, a desire to spend time around children, a great deal of patience, and a modicum of humor. We welcome individuals and couples of all ages, plus families with teenaged children. Participants should be healthy for travel, and tolerant of less than stellar living conditions and amenities. Volunteer opportunities can be organized for a community, school, or corporate groups.
