Kampala’s 300,000 orphans and vulnerable children are abandoned, sick, addicted, hungry, scared, and on their own. M-LISADA is a home, reception & resource center, and family to approximately 170 children and young adults.

M-LISADA employs 5 core programs: Child Protection & Reunification, Psycho-Social Support & Life Skills, Education & Sponsorship, Music to the Rescue, and Community Empowerment & Health to provide the complex network of care these children need. We feed, house, and protect them; meet their emotional, psychological, and legal needs; reunify them with their families, and educate them. With music as the central theme, we heal, empower, and support them through every stage of their young lives.

 At M-LISADA, we are passionate about the work we do, and the children whom we serve. But our heart is bigger than our bank account. Our extraordinary programs need continuous funding and there are many children who are in desperate need of the family, home, and support system that M-LISADA provides.
